The 4A-GE "Blacktop" engine is a 1.6-liter, 20-valve DOHC inline-four engine with a 11:1 compression ratio, producing around 163 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque, featuring Variable Valve Timing (VVT) for increased response, individual throttle bodies, and a lighter flywheel compared to earlier models. Key specifications include a 1,587 cc displacement, 81 mm bore, 77 mm stroke, 16-valve cylinder head, and a MAP sensor instead of a traditional mass air flow meter.

CASE#1: 

In case someone still wants this:

You don’t need to wait until the end of the game to complete Lester’s assassination missions to get $2 billion.

I got the max amount for each player before Dead Man Walking and after the second assassination mission (Multi Target Assassination) by:

Building up my cash with the Pacific Bluffs briefcase while improving stamina and lung capacity:

Dive Collect money Resurface Save Reload When all protagonists had a decent amount of money, I used the LCN stock exchange to get each to $50 million:

Positioned Michael next to a bed Picked the lowest stock (in red) from the bottom table of stocks on the LCN homepage (usually 3 red & 3 green stocks) Bought the stock for all three characters Saved on Michael’s phone Went to bed and exited (without saving). Time still passes. Checked the stock:  • If it went up: saved on phone

 • If it went down: repeated step 5 a few times

 • If it continued going down, reloaded last high and tried again

I usually moved on to the next stock after about a 40% return.

Once each had $50 million, I completed the Lester missions.

I encountered a glitch: after Franklin’s payout of $2 billion, the other two characters wouldn’t pay out, and I couldn’t access their cash. I fixed this by spending some money with Franklin, switching to the next character, buying and selling one share of Redwood (the stock they held), spending some money, and repeating for the last character.



CASE#2:

Backup Methods (If You Already Completed Lester's Missions)
If you already finished Lester's missions without investing, you cannot hit the billions, but you can still farm large amounts of money using these methods:
  • TNK Stock Hitchhiker Event: Look for a random encounter on the highway near Chumash where a businessman's car broke down. If you drive him to the airport before his flight, he will give you a tip to buy Tinkle (TNK) stock. Invest all character funds immediately before the ride to get a quick ~30% profit. [1]
  • Destroy Competitor Assets: You can manipulate the standard LCN stock market by destroying the property of rival businesses. For example, buy AirEmu stock, go to Los Santos International Airport, and blow up every FlyUS airplane you see. FlyUS stock will crash and AirEmu stock will rise. [1, 2]
  • The Hidden Briefcase Exploit: Dive to the underwater shipwreck located on the western edge of the map to find a $25,000 cash briefcase. Grab it, immediately create a quick save on your phone, and reload that save file. The briefcase will respawn instantly, allowing you to cycle this repeatedly for fast cash. [1]
  • Rob Armored Trucks: Keep an eye out for Gruppe Sechs security vans randomly appearing on the radar. Blow open the back doors with sticky bombs or a shotgun to secure quick payouts between $3,000 and $8,000 per truck. [1]

 


CASE#3:

Stock market - Basically buy whatever has crashed the most check the chart and if it's dropped for a few days then it'll almost always rebound after sleeping a couple times.



CASE#4:

You can absolutely still make coin without Lester...

  1. Invest in Vangelico after Eye in the Sky, sell after The Paleto Heist

  2. Invest in Gruppe6 after Surveying the Score, sell after Fresh Meat

  3. Invest in FlyUs a little after Legal Trouble, sell a few in-game days after Meltdown

  4. Invest in Auguary when it crashes after the finalé, sell a few in-game days later

  5. Invest in TNK before picking up the hitch-hiker for the airport, sell a few in-game hours later

Probably won't be Golf Club money, but it should still be Every Car in the Game money.
